New Student Information During Pandemic

NEW STUDENT INFORMATION

Welcome!

Due to our limited class size, we require advanced registration, so be sure to REGISTER ONLINE, at least an hour ahead to avoid being turned away!

Be sure to read our COVID19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES for important additional  information before arriving for class.

Arrival: Give yourself plenty of time to get here -- please arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class to allow time for orientation and getting set up. Use the south entrance to the building. Note: We do not allow late arrivals.

To Bring and Not To Bring:
  • Don't come to class if you feel sick or have been in contact with anyone who has/or may have COVID 19!
  • Please bring a mask with you.  Students must wear a mask at all times -  during check-in, in the lobby, during classes or when interacting with other students or staff.
  • Please come to class free of any scents.
  • Come well hydrated and please bring more than one water bottle, as we will not have a water dispenser available during this time
  • Come on an empty stomach -- if possible don't eat 1-2 hours before class.
  • Men: Come with a tank-top or t-shirt to wear during class as we ask all students to wear a chest covering.
  • Bring your own yoga mat (If you don't have one you can rent or purchase one from us)  We'll help you set  up for class so you won't have to worry about finding a spot!
We offer new students a 15% discount on any of our store items (such as  yoga mats, micro-fiber mat towels, reusable water bottles etc.) within their first two weeks at the studio!

Arriving:
  • Leave valuables in your car. No cell phones in the classroom area!
  • We'll give you a brief introduction to YogAlign® or Kettlebells, including how to avoid getting injured!
  • Be sure to tell us at that time if you have any current injuries.
During Class, Safety Is The #1 Priority:
  • Pace yourself. Modify the yoga postures or kettlebell exercises to your ability - if you're not sure how to do that, ask the teacher.

  • Make sure to drink water during class! If you get dizzy or light-headed, lie down on your back until your body recovers. If you get nauseous, tell the teacher!
  • Yoga Students: WE MAINTAIN QUIET DURING YOGA. If you have questions during class, please ask the teacher, not other students.
  • Kettlebell Students: While we don't maintain quiet, we do ask that you not talk to other students while the teacher is giving you instructions.
  • If you need to use the restroom, just leave and re-enter the classroom areas quietly, maintaining 6 ft away from other students as you move around.
  • At the end of yoga class there will be a relaxation period, which is a time for your practice to integrate. Please no talking during final relaxation -- allow fellow students to relax in silence.
After Class:
  • You're invited to hang out and talk to your new friends or the teacher -- as long as you maintain 6 ft social distancing!
We look forward to meeting you!
